How Much Will Aetna Cover for Drug and Alcohol Rehab?
Aetna coverage for addiction treatment depends on factors such as your individual plan, provider network, deductible, and recommended level of care.
Beyond your monthly premium, your plan may include:
Deductible
This is the amount you pay out-of-pocket each year before your Aetna plan begins contributing to treatment costs; for many plans, this can range from approximately $1,500 to $2,500, and may need to be met before services like detox or residential care are covered.
Copayments or Coinsurance
After meeting your deductible, your plan may still require a copay or coinsurance payment for services such as therapy sessions, medical care, or outpatient treatment.
Out-of-Pocket Maximum
Many Aetna plans include an annual out-of-pocket maximum. Once this amount is reached, eligible covered services may be paid at a significantly higher rate by your insurance provider.

Twenty-one years ago I arrived at FH to begin the process of, what would end up being, the single greatest decision of my life. At that moment, I was terrified! After the initial fear, uncertainty, and self-loathing were brought to the service via individual and group therapy (special nod to grief therapy!), I saw there truly was a sober way out of the train wreck that I had made of my life. Fast forward - I haven't had a drink since the day I arrived there in 2004. I fully believe that God led me to FH and I'm so grateful to Him and the wonderful people there who make the magic happen.
Several years ago, when a family member needed help, we chose Fellowship Hall because I personally knew a couple of employees and had heard wonderful things about the organization. The beautiful, peaceful campus was an added bonus. Recovery is a challenging journey, often requiring various types of treatment, and Fellowship Hall's Residential Drug & Alcohol Recovery Program was the crucial starting point for our loved one's recovery journey, which has been a great success.
I relapsed after a couple years of recovery and couldn't get clean on my own. Fellowship Hall helped me get clean and back into recovery and I'll be forever grateful for everyone there! The family program is also amazing! They gave me my life back!
Fellowship Hall saved my life. I came here scared and sick and I left sober and happy. The facility, the staff (and the food) are all excellent. The care is intensive and effective. If anyone is struggling with alcohol or substance abuse and feel that they need something extra to help get straight - this is the place!
I can’t even explain what this place has done for me. Fantastic staff and I made fantastic friends. I will be forever grateful to here. This is seriously a fantastic place and I would recommend it to anybody that needs help. Lord knows I did and I got myself into the right place. This one. Thank you Fellowship Hall!
FH is an amazing treatment center. The staff are professional and caring, going above and beyond their responsibility to make patients feel welcome and comfortable during a difficult time. There is a good balance of large group education, small group therapy and one on one counseling. I also found time to be with myself and make use of the beautiful grounds for exercising and meditating. My life began to change from this experience!
I truly believe that Fellowship Hall saved my life, my family and is responsible for my relationship with my God today. The staff is beyond compare, the accommodations and the food are well above average. I am grateful for my time there, so much so that I went back, and after struggling, was welcomed with open arms! I wore out the meditation trail, and have made great friends and memories I would have never known.
As a former guest at Fellowship Hall, I received the best care a person in recovery could possibly get. Their staff is superb and their curriculum is top notch. Thanks to all at Fellowship Hall who have helped me on my recovery journey!
