"I was a guest at the Women’s Lodge in February of 2022. I arrived afraid, alone and unsure of what this place would be able to do to help me. I had family that went to FH and I knew that it was a safe place and that the food was good! But I was not sure that was enough to keep me there. On my first day as I entered the common area and saw all the women laughing and watching TV, I panicked. How could they be so happy? Had I accidently walked into the employee lounge? Another guest saw me and told me that I would be just like them in a matter of days. And she was right, I too was soon laughing and no longer crying. FH taught me about my disease and gave me hope for the first time in a long time. The women’s lodge was warm and comfortable. It felt like we were a million miles from anything that could harm or disturb us. I was able to connect with women that have helped me stay sober and who have become lifelong friends. I am so grateful for FH and the staff there. They encouraged me daily, but they also taught me discipline. I will never be able to repay FH for helping me on my road to recovery, but I can encourage women to give it a chance."

"Fellowship Hall was the best 28 days of my life. On September 27, 2022 I went in super angry, lost, and hesitant to go. From the second I was admitted, I felt safe and cared for. From the medical staff to the therapists; I was cared for so thoroughly. With a lot of the employees in recovery themselves, they all understood me so well. I felt like they were working with me, and not treating me like another patient. My recovery really reached another level and took off through all of the volunteers who came and told their story every night. Those 28 women changed something in me and brought me hope that I could not only get sober, but stay sober and live a spiritual life.
