Women’s Residential Drug & Alcohol Recovery Program
Women and men recover from drugs and alcohol differently and have unique drug and alcohol recovery treatment needs. Research suggests that gender is an important component in substance use patterns, treatment, and relapse prevention. Gender also plays a role in an individual’s willingness to access drug and alcohol recovery treatment.
Our Women’s Drug & Alcohol Recovery Program reflects an understanding of the reality that women recover differently and responds to the challenge. You’ll receive individualized, trauma-informed care in an all-female program with an average length of stay between 16-30 days, depending on your individual needs.
Women reside in the Mose Kiser Women’s Lodge in a safe community where you can begin to connect with yourself and others to rebuild self-confidence while working through a myriad of topics including the impact of lost relationships, shame and grief, trauma, and how to manage emotions in a healthy way. Your individual drug or alcohol treatment plan addresses your challenges and needs while providing a holistic approach to treat all of you – as an individual, as well as your relationships with others as a child, parent, or significant other.
