Housekeeper

Fellowship Hall, a 123-bed private, not-for-profit specialty hospital offering abstinence-based alcohol and drug treatment based on the 12-Step Model of Recovery, located on a serene 120-acre country setting in Greensboro, NC, is currently seeking a Part-time Housekeeper. Fellowship Hall has been established for over 45 years and enjoys a stellar reputation as one of the premier treatment providers in the country. Our facility has been accredited by the Joint Commission since 1974, and we offer inpatient care, detoxification, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, family programming, extended treatment, and structured living. We draw patients from North and South Carolina, Virginia, and 23 other States.

Our housekeeping staff works to clean guest rooms, common areas, offices, and administrative rooms, including several in-patient and extended care buildings. They maintain standards of cleanliness and provide clean sheets, restrooms, and a healthy environment for all guests, visitors, and employees at Fellowship Hall. 

The Part-time Housekeeper will work approximately 24 hours per week, with the following expected schedule: 

            Monday and Tuesday 7:30am – 4:00pm

            Friday 7:30am – 12:00pm

            Every Other Saturday and Sunday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education:  

  • GED or High School Graduate 

Minimum Experience:

  • Familiar with excellent cleanliness standards

Minimum Licensure/Certification:

  • Driver’s License

Skills:

  • Familiar with the operation of cleaning guest rooms.

Physical Demands/Strength:

  • Be able to lift objects at least 25 lbs.
  • Be able to sit/stand for prolonged periods.
  • Be able to perform tasks which require hand-eye coordination.
  • Be able to communicate using the English language.

Environmental Conditions:     

  • Potential exposure to airborne/blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious material.

Visual Demand:         

  • Be able to see closely and far away as in reading and driving.

Aural (Hearing) Demand:      

  • Be able to hear normal sounds with background noise.

Protective Devices Required:

  • Smocks, aprons and gloves as needed.

Working Environment:           

  • A lockable storage area for housekeeping supplies.
